Pigeon Forge Primary PTO

PTO Meeting
Please join us for our PTO meetings this school year. Our parent/teacher group
exists to support the teachers at Pigeon Forge Primary in providing our children the
very best education they possible can. We do that through fundraising and service
projects. We always can use more help. If you have a few hours, or more time,
please let us know and we will gladly find a way to use your help. We can be reached
at 428-3016, or fill out one of the signup sheets located in the front office.

We will meet Tuesday, December 1st at 3:30 in the library.
We will have several important items to discuss and we will look forward to seeing you there. Our Santa's workshop will be December 7-11from 8am until 4pm and we need lots of volunteers to help make this event a success. We will have a schedule at the meeting for you to sign up for any hours that you can help out. If you have not worked the Santa's workshop before, this is a great opportunity to get to know other parents at the school. The schedule will also be available for signups on the PTO board in the front hallway.

Here is a list of some of the items purchased by the PTO to benefit the children of Pigeon Forge Primary during the 2008-2009 school year:
  - 7 new computers and internet connections
  - 6 DVD -VCR players
  - Risers for the Music Department
  - Recreation Equipment for the gym and school grounds
  - AR testing software
  - 4th grade books
  - Continuing education funds for our amazing teachers
  - Clinic supplies

This fall we have already paid forr mulch for the playgrounds! By the way, many thanks are owed to the City of Pigeon Forge for reparing a drainage problem in our side playground that was causing us to lose mulch every time it rained this spring.
